Please help Save Lennox!
Lennox is a 5 year old therapy dog that was taken from his family and sentenced to be put to sleep simply because of his appearance. Lennox is an American Bulldog/Labrador mix. The Belfast City Council has sentenced him to death because they believe he looks like a Pit Bull (despite the fact that they have registered him for the last 5 years)! They are going to murder an innocent creature because they don't like the breed they think he resembles. This dog has done nothing wrong and has in no way presented any kind of dangerous behavior!! His life may be taken for no reason, that is senseless murder!!
Lennox's family and support group have decided to appeal the council and judges decision to put Lennox to sleep. It is important that we all take steps to help them free this sweet boy and return him to his family, and the 12 year old girl who is his best friend. Please do what you can to help!
Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) is a cruel and senseless practice. Today it's Lennox and his family going through hell, tomorrow it could be you and your family pet. Lennox is spending his 6th birthday locked in a concrete cell with nothing but sawdust to lay on!! Please help with the efforts to release this boy and return him to his family!!
